Gary W. Furman Jr., 48, of Dousman, passed away Sept. 17, 2019, at his home. He was born on Jan. 14, 1971, in Milwaukee, to Gary and Eldene (Roffers) Furman Sr.
Gary grew up in East Troy and graduated from East Troy High School in 1989. He worked in maintenance and mechanics for the majority of his working career.
Gary enjoyed playing video games, surfing the internet and, in his earlier years, hunting and the outdoors.
Gary was reserved and thoughtful. His loving family says that he did not say much, but when he did, people listened. He loved his family and his family loved him. He will be dearly missed by those who knew him.
Gary is survived by his loving parents, Gary and Eldene Furman, Eagle; siblings, Marsha Hanson, Stone Bank, Nella Tyrrell, Oconomowoc, and Greg Furman, East Troy; son, Allen Timony, Eagle; nephews, Charles Furman, East Troy, Michael Furman, Eagle, and Daniel Tyrrell, Oconomowoc; aunts, Coral Samosky, Stuart, Florida, and Sharon Roffers, Beaver Dam; and niece, Laura Tyrrell. Gary is also survived by a number of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a niece, Maelyn Lind.
Funeral services will be at noon on Saturday, Sept. 28, at Little Prairie United Methodist Church N9515 Palmyra Road, Eagle. The Rev. Duane Goetsch will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
Gary will be laid to rest during a private family service in Little Prairie Cemetery.
