Elizabeth (Johnson), 85, of Lincoln, Mass. died Jan. 10, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late Leopold Peavy, Jr.
She was born in Darien, on Oct. 17, 1927 to the late Frank H. and Gertrude (Lawson) Johnson.
She is survived by her children, Leopold “Dexter” III (Maria Wolog) of Woodbridge, Conn. and Sara of New York, N.Y. and grandchildren, Leopold IV, Natalia Elizabeth, George Andrew and Katherine Sara. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and sisters in-law, Frances Johnson of Darien and Joanne Johnson. She was further preceded in death by brothers C.P. (Phil) Johnson and Frank Johnson
A memorial service will be held on Jan. 25 at noon at the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 54 Walden St., Concord, Mass.
