The club holds numerous fundraisers to support the community
The Williams Bay Lioness will celebrate 40 years of service this month. The club was established March 28, 1979.
The Lioness club holds fundraisers throughout the year to raise money to put back into the community with donations to the local school, Barrett Memorial Library, Lakeland Animal Shelter, Walworth County Food Pantry and many other local organizations.
The club also supports Lions Club Leader Dogs, Vision Programs, Hearing Programs and other local and state Lions Clubs projects.
Fundraisers include a dessert stand at the Williams Bay Lions annual Corn & Brat Fest every year in August. There is also a craft fair held in conjunction with the village Boo in the Bay weekend and Ladies Bunco Night the first Thursday in May.
The Lioness club has dinner meetings every third Tuesday in September through May at various locations and is always looking for new members.
