The Fontana Public Library had to cancel the Fake News: Nutrition Edition program in January due to weather and has rescheduled it for next week.
The free program for adults is now slated for 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 12.
Are you confused by changing or contradictory opinions on the foods we eat? Do you ever wonder which diet is actually the healthiest? Those wanting answers to those questions are encouraged to attend this free program.
It will be presented by Joan Davis, RN, and is designed to: provide a simple, practical approach to evaluating nutritional claims; introduce databases and resources to get the answers science supports, and; discover red flags to watch for when reviewing research studies.
As a bonus, healthy food samples will be available as well as recipes and tips on healthier food preparation and eating at home.
The program will be held in the Fontana Village meeting room at the library, 175 Valley View Dr., Fontana.
