Donita, J. Pokwinski, 65, entered into eternal rest Jan. 7, 2019. She was born in Waukesha on Jan. 31, 1953, to Paul and Donna (Hazel) Lawrence.
She graduated from Waukesha South High School. She met her husband, Craig, in high school and they were married in Big Bend on April 6, 1974.
Donita was a longtime resident of the East Troy area. She was a lover of animals, gardening, reading, word find puzzles and the show Family Feud.
She is survived by her daughter Nicole (Chris), of East Troy; former husband, Craig, of Eagle; and fur grand babies, Tanner, Gunner, Hannah, Bailey and Callie; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother, Danny Lawrence.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
