Theresia M. Woodside was born Sept. 27, 1947, in Wayne, Mich., to Robert and Ginger (Hazinski) Arndt. She passed away Dec. 21, 2018, at Mercy Janesville Medical Center.
She was the dearest wife of Don; beloved mother of Rick, Chris and Denise, and loving grandmother to all her grandchildren. Theresia was a resident of Harvard, Illinois, for more than 10 years and then a resident of Walworth, for over 18 years.
She graduated from Waukesha College in 1982 with a degree in science. She was employed at Aurora Lakeland Hospital in Elkhorn for nine years as a patient access representative until retirement.
She loved animals, gardening and playing the piano. She will be forever missed, as she was the centerpiece of her family.
Theresia is survived by her husband, Donald R. Woodside, whom she married on April 18, 1969, in Garden City, Michigan; her children, Rick Woodside, Chris (Ali) Woodside, and Denise (Matt) Bell; grandchildren, Kaylee, Emily, Kasey, Tyler, Alec, and Dylan; sister, Dolores (Ron) Madeji; brothers, Thomas (Susan) Arndt, and Richard (Cathy) Arndt; sister-in-law, Carol Arndt; and very good family friends, Angie Woodside, Jake, Joe, Brennan, Kalyssa, and Jenna.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Butch Arndt.
A celebration of Theresia’s life will be held on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Toynton’s Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St., Walworth.
