Daniel Heinz, 79, of East Troy passed away suddenly Dec. 13, 2018.
He was born in Milwaukee but relocated to East Troy where Dan and his wife, Rita, raised their children.
He attended school in Fort Atkinson and was a U.S. Marine.
Dan was an active member of St. Peter the Apostle Church in East Troy, a member of the Knights of Columbus and a past grand knight. He was always willing to lend a helping hand.
He is survived by his wife; son, Dan (Kandi); daughters, Lisa (Greg) and Julie (Jeremy); grandson, Logan; sister, Lee (Bill); brother-in-law, Art; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and a brother.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 1975 Beulah Ave., East Troy.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time Mass at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter’s Parish and school are greatly appreciated.
