Robert “Bob” William Condon, 88, of East Troy, entered into the Lord’s presence on Aug. 1, 2018. He was born in Manteno, Illinois Oct. 20, 1929.
He graduated from Richmond-Burton Community High School in 1948.
Bob was inducted into the Richmond-Burton Community High School football hall of fame in 2007.
He was married to Eleanor Gleason on Aug. 23, 1953. They were married 64 years.
Bob lived his life farming, first in Illinois, and then in East Troy since 1967.
He enjoyed his family, farming, animals, and sports. He was a member of Briggs Road Evangelical Free Church.
Bob is survived by his wife, Eleanor, East Troy; children, Kathie (Jim) Roberts, Rob (Sue), Ron (Gigi), Rod (Laurie), Randy (Sue), and Ryan (Robin); 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Theresa Miller; brother, Ed; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Stella Condon; siblings, Kay Adams, Jerry, Johan Neaubauer and Bonnie Hill.
A memorial service will noon on Saturday, Aug. 11, at Briggs Road Evangelical Free Church, 4654 Briggs Road, Elkhorn. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Bertram Bobb Bible Camp, PO Box 822, Ringold, OK 74754.
