Bethel United Methodist Church has a 145-year history of serving Elkhorn and the neighbors of the community.
For the past 12 years, the church has hosted Birdies Fore Bethel Golf Outing, Luncheon, Raffle and Silent Auction. Funds raised help the church support many organizations including the Elkhorn Food Pantry, Twin Oaks Shelter, Open Arms Clinic, HOPE Now, Habitat for Humanity of Walworth County and the Association for the Prevention of Family Violence.
Golfers are invited to attend this year’s event at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 19 at Lauderdale Lakes Country Club – rain or shine. The $60 registration fee includes nine holes of golf, a cart and lunch.
Non-golfers are encouraged to top by for lunch in the clubhouse following the rounds and to participate in the silent auction and raffle. The cost of the meal only is $10 a person.
