The Elkhorn Area High School girls gymnastics team ended its season on a high note March 3 at the WIAA Division 2 State Gymnastics Meet.
The meet took place March 2 and 3 at Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln High School. Elkhorn finished fourth as a team in Division 2, which coach Amanda Lockhart said beats their season-long ranking in the Wisconsin High School Gymnastics Association honor roll.
“I am very pleased with the fourth-place finish,” Amanda Lockhart said. “All season we had been ranked fifth, so to hear when they announced Elkhorn in fourth was a great feeling.”
