Utility work on the East Troy Village Square has begun. Construction on Church Street got underway Wednesday morning and Highway 120/G into the Village Square is closed with detours around the square on Austin Street.
Also in this week’s edition of the newspaper, the Village of East Troy is encouraging voters to register early for the spring election and the Village Board approved the special assessments for the utility work on the square.
In sports, the East Troy High School boys basketball team advanced to sectionals after winning the regional championship.
