Gregory Calvin Meeker, 67, of East Troy, entered into the presence of Christ on Nov. 9, 2017. He was born on Oct. 28, 1950, to the late Harold and Dorothy (Andersen) Meeker, in Ohio.
He made his home in East Troy with his beloved wife, Mary Kay.
His passion was his work with children, his horsemanship, and his blacksmithing all at Camp Timber-lee. He was very active as a Sparks leader in the AWANA Clubs, and took great joy in fostering a love of learning in children. He was also a member of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include five brothers, three sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was further preceded in death by his beloved wife, a brother and a sister.
Funeral services were Nov. 18 at the East Troy Bible Church, 2660 North St.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Faith Christian School, W5525 Highway 67, Williams Bay, to support the Greg and Mary Kay Meeker Legacy Fund, which goes to the advancement of fine arts at the school, are suggested.
