Making friends

East Troy High School student Chase Coleman (from left) reads with Prairie View Elementary School third-graders Bryce Bayley and Emerson Swinehart in the new outdoor classroom between the elementary school and Little Prairie Primary School. The high school football players are teaming up with third graders from Quinn Fitch and Katherine Cramer’s classes in the Football Writing and Reading Buddies program. The teachers match their students with a high school football player and letters are written back and forth throughout the school year, with the kids meeting each other and reading books a couple times a year.
