Myrl J. Amann, 84, of East Troy died Oct. 23, 2017, at East Troy Manor. He was born in Burlington to Edward and Martha (Stober) and was a lifetime resident of the East Troy area.
After graduating from East Troy schools he became a member of the U.S. Air Force.
He was happily married to Jean for many years.
He was a member of the American Legion, Kiwanis Club, Lions Club and the East Troy Community Service Club. He was instrumental in placing the new flag pole on the square and in helping with the local Honor Flights. He was an avid Wisconsin sports fan.
Survivors include his sons, David (Connie) Amann and Kim (Darcy) Kiesow; son-in-law, Ray Twist; grandchildren, Fallon (Pete) Ready, Derek, Andy (Melissa), and Kelsey Kiesow, Marshall and Jared Amann; great-grandchildren, Milan Ready and Max Kiesow; other relatives and many friends.
He has joined his loving wife, Jean, and a daughter, Robin Twist, who preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday Oct. 25, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
