A 32-year-old East Troy man is charged with stalking, misdemeanor bail jumping, obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct with domestic abuse assessments after a Sept. 4 incident in East Troy.
According to the criminal complaint, Benjamin Tomczyk Nelson was out on bond on charges of misdemeanor bail jumping, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct with conditions that he have no contact with a 39-year-old East Troy woman and consume no alcohol. The complaint states Nelson allegedly kicked in the woman’s apartment door, pushed her around, knocked things over and took a kitchen knife and attempted to slash tires in the parking lot on Sept. 4.
Nelson registered .26 on a preliminary breath test and was Tased after he refused to comply with an officer’s demands to get on the ground, according to the complaint.
