Mary Ellen Baack, 79, of East Troy, died April 17, 2017, at Angels Grace Hospice Oconomowoc. She was born March 12, 1938, to the late Nels and Marie Olsen in Milwaukee.
She graduated from high school in Milwaukee. She served as Women’s Service Club past president for East Troy Lioness Club, treasurer of St Peter’s Altar Sodality, and co-chairman St Peter’s CCD program.
Survivors include her sister, Elaine (Larry) Stowasser; children, John, Linda (Rick) Porter, and David (Jennifer); grandchildren, Mike (Jenny) Porter, Shawn (Sarah) Raymond, Andrew (Michelle), Bradley, Juliana (Corey) Cefalu, Matthew Porter, Tiffany; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Charles; sister, Kathryn McNaughton, and grandson Dylan.
Always a devoted mother, grandmother, beloved aunt and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 21, at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 1975 Beulah Ave., East Troy. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
