Thomas J. Cribben passed away Jan. 29, 2017, at his home in the Town of Linn.
He was born March 20, 1951, in Janesville, to Sylvester and Eileen (McGinnity) Cribben.
Tom will be remembered for the love and dedication he had to his family, as well as his strong work ethic, attention to detail and love of hunting.
Tom is survived by his wife, Ruth (Kreuscher) Cribben, whom he married Oct. 22, 1977, in Burlington; children Hyedi (Jesse) Nelson and Kyual Cribben; grandson Calvin Thomas Nelson; sisters Marie (Linn) Ferguson and Carol Rodenbeck; brothers Bill (Laurie) Cribben and Dan (Karen) Cribben; and in-laws Robert (Claudia) Kreuscher and Ronalyn (Cliff) Huenergard; as well as 14 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Eileen (McGinnity) Cribben; father- and mother-in-law, Ronald and Betty Kreuscher; grandson Charles Reed Nelson; and brother-in-law Greg Rodenbeck.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
