Margaret Friemoth Deneen, 96, of East Troy went to the Lord on Oct. 20, 2016 at East Troy Manor in East Troy.
Margaret Deneen was born Feb. 22, 1920, in East Troy, the daughter of the late Margaret Josephine (Chart) and Frank Henry Friemoth. She had 15 siblings.
She married Leo Daniel McWilliams on Feb. 22, 1938. Margaret was a homemaker at first, living in Belmont and then moving to Madison.
She and her husband Leo had four children. Due to Leo’s failing health, she took a job at the Oscar Mayer Co. in Madison and was employed there for 30 years.
Her husband Leo passed away on Dec. 13, 1966.
Margaret was an active member of the lay organizations supporting both the LAMP program through St. Bernard Church in Madison and the Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary on Cottage Grove Road.
Margaret married Donald Deneen on June 29, 1974, and moved to Blue Mounds where Donald was in farming. She enjoyed her retirement from Oscar Mayer raising sheep and rabbits for their wool and fur for spinning into yarn. Donald passed away on March 4, 1989, and a few years later she moved back to East Troy where she could be in the company of her siblings.
Margaret loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren very much and took advantage of every opportunity to be with them.
She is survived by two sons, Peter (Glenna) of Sun Prairie, and their children, Charlene Wolf (Joe) of Marshall, and Tanya (Jeff) Biessman of Jacksonville, Ill.; and Paul (Pam) of Racine, and their children, Trevor (Dee) of Rock Island, Ill., Ryan of New York, N.Y., and Kevin of Boulder, Colo.; daughter, Sarah (Henry) and their child Henry; daughter-in-law, Terri (Patrick) and their children, Michael of Chicago, Ill., and Jennifer Forcash (Joe) of Zelienople, Pa.
She is further survived by her sisters, Phyllis (Bob) Welch and Mary Ellen (Michael) Vilona; and brothers, Jim (Jean) Friemoth, Leo Friemoth, Vincent (Joyce) Friemoth, Milton (Yvonne) Friemoth, Larry (Sharon) Friemoth, Alan (Barbara) Friemoth and Richard (Donna) Friemoth.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husbands Leo McWilliams and Donald Deneen, her son Patrick McWilliams, four sisters, Betty (Ed) Baker, Rose Marie (Don) Nelson, Bonnie (Jack) Mahoney and Joan (Floyd) Romens and two brothers, Robert Friemoth and Francis Friemoth.
Services were Oct. 28, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, East Troy.
Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery in Madison.
