Ian Emery and Fairhaven Senior Services resident Dolores Grulkowski get to know a visiting calf June 24 during the mini county fair set up by the Stone School and LaGrange 4-H Clubs at the senior center. Fairhaven residents had a chance to get up close and personal with a variety of 4-H animal projects that included calves, chickens, dogs, goats, hogs, rabbits and a duckling and guinea pig, along with a showcase of other projects featuring model rocketry, knitting and crochet, photography, preserves, sewing, and woodworking.
