A man in being charged in Darien Municipal Court with obstructing an investigation into a fire in Darien in 2013.
Jamison Dickman, 42, is charged with obstruction in connection with the investigation into a fire at 214 N. Wisconsin St. in Darien on Nov. 23, 2013, said Delavan Police Chief Tim O’Neill.
O’Neill said the cause of the fire has not been determined. The fire destroyed a bedroom and part of the kitchen and collapsed a floor of the home, which Dickman owns, he said.
No one was injured in the fire, and O’Neill said he’s uncertain whether the investigation would have been successful had Dickman cooperated. O’Neill declined to give specifics about the obstruction.
He said the investigation is still open, and nothing has been ruled out as the cause.
