Shirley M. Yazbec, 89, of Delavan, died Feb. 2, 2016, at her home in Delavan surrounded by her family.
She was born in Peru, Ill., Feb. 19, 1926, to Leo and Johanna (Lindenmeyer) Schultz. She married William Yazbec Sr., on Jan. 11, 1947, in Peru, Ill. He died June 5, 1990. She was a longtime member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Shelley (fiancé Dominick Dalitto) Wood, of Arizona, Cindy (Henry) Blazer, of Darien, and Robin (Jimmy) Regan, of Delavan; a son, William Jr. (Lissie) Yazbec, of Delavan; six grandchildren, William III, David, Ellen, Brian, Bruce and Matt; eight great grandchildren, Caleb, Noel, Hayden, Katie, Alex, Will, Riley and Zoey; and a son-in-law, Ronald Larson, of Delavan.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; a daughter, Becky; three sisters, Lois (Tony) Quartucci, Claire (Wayne) Batchelder, and Jean (Calvin) Monroe; and a brother, Merle Schultz.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 714 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church. Burial will take place at St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
