Genevieve “Genny” A. Healey, 91, of East Troy, died Nov. 20, 2015, at East Troy Manor. She was born July 4, 1924, to Oswald and Lorraine Mitsch in Waterford.
She graduated from Waterford High School.
She married her late husband Jay Roy Sr. and moved to East Troy, where they raised their family.
She was a proud member of the Mukwonago VFW. She was a cashier at Sawyer’s Meat Market for more than 20 years, a janitor and cook for both Stewart and Stone schools and a waitress at the restaurant on Lake Beulah formerly known as Cliffords.
Survivors include her children, Jay R. Jr., (Patty), Tennessee, Rita Hughes and Scott (Diane), East Troy; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
She will be interred with her husband in Wood National Cemetery, Milwaukee, privately.
