East Troy hosts Ladish Invite

Girls take fifth, boys ninth

The East Troy girls cross country team was fifth, while the boys were ninth at last week’s Ladish Invitational.

Jefferson won the 14-team girls’ title with 83 points, followed by Waukesha North with 98, Kenosha Indian Trail with 99, New Berlin West with 119 and East Troy with 148.

Maddie Rosin led the Trojans in 12th (22:02.7), followed by Morgan Bartlett, 26th (22:57); Amanda Bustillos, 30th (23:22.5); Brianna Fridley, 38th (23:47.5); Heather Vivian, 44th (24:23.3); Kayla Casper, 52nd (24:33); and Kaylee McFarland, 66th (25:08.4).

On the boys’ side, Indian Trail was first with 72 points, followed by Milton with 108, Greendale with 124, Kenosha Christian Life with 127 and Westfield-Montello with 138.

East Troy had 138 points.

Nathan Dallas was 23rd overall in 19:15.7 to lead the Trojans, followed by Nathan Fox, 24th (19:16.3); Jacob Smith, 3st (19:32.7); Charlie Ward, 55th (20:45.2); Allan Herrell, 69th (21:21.9); Kelcye DeMara, 74th (21:39.7); and Bryant Bisbee, 78th (22:21).

East Troy traveled to the Stoughton Invitational Thursday and competes at Green Lake Saturday.
