James F. Murphy, 74, of Sugar Creek, died July 31, 2015, at his home.
He was born Jan. 11, 1941, in Milwaukee to Harold and Ruby (De Long) Murphy. He worked for many years at Woodstock Die Cast.
He is survived by his three children, Kimberly Ann (Abraham) Brower, of Elkhorn, Jacqueline Marie (Courtney) Giller, of Delavan, and Phillip James Murphy, of Madison; four grandchildren, Michele Burkheimer, Nicholas Brower, Lindsey Giller and Caitlin Giller; two great-grandchildren, Brenna and Wyatt Burkheimer; and two siblings, Cathy Bishop and Harold “Dick” Murphy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and three sisters, Delores, Darlene and Geraldine.
A visitation will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan.
