Kerry was born to Donald H. Smith & Judith E. Smith (Nicks), on March 12, 1963, in Waukesha.
She attended Palmyra-Eagle High School and worked for Spring Lake Realty, a family owned business. She enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, sports, vacationing and being on the lake. She was an avid fan of the Packers, Brewers, Bucks and Badgers.
She was always willing to lend a helpful hand and never expected anything in return. Kerry was very dedicated to her family and friends. She loved her two nieces and three nephews like they were her own children. Her battle with cancer ended on July 1, the same day her father passed away 35 years ago. She will be sadly missed by those who loved and adored her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald H. Smith; and her grandparents, Harold Smith, Wayne and Ethel Nicks, and Kenneth Malvitz.
She is survived by her mother, Judith E. Smith; her two sisters, Kimberly (Joe) Pangburn and Kory (Jerry) Garlock; her two nieces, Kody Pangburn and Khloe Garlock; three nephews, D.J. Pangburn, Ty Garlock and Nolan Garlock; her special companion, Michael Foelker; her grandmother, Hazel Malvitz; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of life will take place at noon, Saturday, July 11, at Millard Community Church, N6713 Hwy. O, Elkhorn, with visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Hillside Cemetery in Palmyra.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated. Donations will be made to charities that were significant to Karen.
