Jessica Lynn Kay, 41, of Edgerton, passed away May 18, 2015, at Mercy Hospital, Janesville, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born on Aug. 5, 1973, in Fond du Lac, daughter of Karen (Tousey) Mercado. She was united in marriage on Nov. 25, 2006, to Elliott Kay, in Janesville. She was a member of Midwest Christian Center in Janesville.
Jessica enjoyed spending time with her family and serving the Community Meal’s for Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 8 years, Elliott, of Edgerton; two sons, Michael Mertes and Mason Mertes, both of Edgerton; two brothers, Colt Patrash, of Janesville, and Kenneth (Amy) Schmitz, of Fond du Lac.
A memorial service took place May 22 at Midwest Christian Center, Janesville, with the Rev Todd Benedict officiating.
