Child and adult-friendly baskets will be raffled off including themes such as: summer fun, pool party, all about sports, girls night out, UW Athletics, family game night, science and engineering, planes/trains/and automobiles, family movie night, arts and crafts, princesses, and all about Disney. Raffle tickets will be 50 cents each.
The silent auction and raffle will close at 8 p.m. Winners need not be present to win and credit cards will be accepted.
“Spring Fling has traditionally been one of our largest fundraisers of the year and we’d like to encourage LINCS families and the broader community to come enjoy a night of family fun at LINCS,” principal Mary Kilar said.
The LINCS FTP supports many students at the school including the Horizon’s Program. With funds the FTP raises, each student at LINCS will be able to see two world-class performances at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Young Auditorium each year. The FTP is involved in additional activities that help students, including the book fair and Opera for the Young.
More than 350 students attend LINCS Charter School. The goal of education at LINCS is to provide an integrated, multi-age, inquiry based education to empower and develop global leaders to meet the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century.
