Loella Helen Frederick Niles, 91, died May 7, 2015, at Three Pillars Nursing Home in Dousman.
Born in West Allis on Sept. 7, 1923, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Donald Niles Sr. She is survived by her children, Douglas (Christine) of Delavan, Donald Jr. (Ann) of Casco, Allison Weber (Doug Hopwood) of Lancaster, Pa., and Dirk (Anne) of Zumbrota, Minn.; grandchildren Allison (Matthew Hegge), Alaina Goldstone (Charlie), David, Angela, John, Melissa, Juliette Weber, Ben Weber, and Ian; and great-grandson Theodore Frederick Niles-Hegge.
Visitation will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday followed by a memorial service at Evert-Luko Funeral Home in Hartland. Memorial donations can be made in her name to the Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha County where she served for many years on the board of directors; or to an agency supporting the use of dogs in therapy – the Alliance of Therapy Dogs or Keystone Pet Enhanced Therapy Services.
