The East Troy Historical Society, in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast, will be highlighting Girl Scouting in the East Troy area for their 2013 winter display.
The exhibit will include Girl Scout uniforms, memorabilia, and other items of scouting interest.
Organizers are looking for items to be loaned to the historical society for the display, such as uniforms (especially from the 1970s and later), pictures, scrapbooks and any other items of interest from past Girl Scouts (girls and leaders).
Items will be returned at the close of the exhibit, or they can be donated to GSWISE to be included in the permanent Girl Scout collection.
Bring items to the East Troy Historical Society, 2106 Church St. on the village square, before Dec. 1 for inclusion in the display. Hours of operation are Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-noon and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
