Christine Elaine Boviall (née Olson) passed from this life on Feb. 14, 2015, at Lakeland Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born at Lakeland Hospital in Elkhorn, on Dec. 15, 1954, to Delores and Richard Olson. Christine subsequently attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education.

Christine married John Boviall on Dec. 5, 1987, at the Delavan United Church of Christ-Congregational. Chris was employed by Borg Indak in Delavan for nearly 30 years.

Chris is survived by her loving husband, John; their daughter, Samantha Boviall, of Beloit; and John’s sons, Jay Boviall, of Delavan, and Justin Boviall, of Naples, Fla. She leaves behind her beloved Siberian husky, Montana. Chris is also survived by her mother, Delores Olson, of Delavan; sister, Linda (Russell) Jansen, of Tuscumbia, Ala.; sister Laurie (Morey) Adams, of Stevens. Point; brother, Richard (Jadzia) Olson, of Houston; and brother, Christopher (Susan) of Austin, Texas. Chris also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, all of whom have fond memories of her. She will be missed by everyone.

Christine is also survived by sister-in-law Carolyn (Boviall) Logterman, and her husband, Stan, of Lake Geneva; and sister-in-law, Jacque Boviall and Ken Meudt, of Delavan.

Chris was preceded in death by her father, Richard Olson, of Delavan; sister, Debbie (Miles) Seter, of Punta Gorda, Fla.; her maternal grandparents, Helen and Alois Bruce; and paternal grandparents, Sufus and Elva Olson.

Chris enjoyed her family and all the special and unique activities throughout the years. As a child, she truly enjoyed vacations with her family and relatives in Siren for many years. Thereafter, Chris, John and family enjoyed many trips to visit relatives in Northern and Southern Minnesota. She loved roses, getaways to the Dells, baking and cooking, and natural wildlife within her surroundings. Her family would attest that Chris was the queen of great recipes and Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Catch Phrase. Chris was always envied for her talent in crafting many of the Halloween costumes for the kids in her family and extended family. Her radiant smile and laugh will always be remembered.

The family wishes to specifically acknowledge and extend thanks to the wonderful, caring and compassionate team of doctors, nursing and hospice staff and the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic at Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn. In addition, much appreciation is extended to the Monroe Funeral Home of Delavan, which is assisting the family.
