Soup-er job

Cory Gentry, Alexis Gaytan and Aaron Katzman stand by clay bowls students created at Washington Elementary School to be given away at the Feb. 20 Soup-er Arts Night event at the school. The all-you-can-eat soup dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. will kickoff the night; the student art gallery will be open from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.; students, staff and community members will showcase their musical talents from 5 to 7 p.m.; and hands-on, take-home activities by Studio 84 will be offered. The suggested donation is $5 a person; attendees are also asked to bring non-perishable food items. Proceeds will benefit the Whitewater Food Pantry.
