DON PLUESS

Don Pluess, 61, of East Troy, died Feb. 3, 2015, at home surrounded by his wife and sons. He was born Dec. 12, 1953 to Kenneth and Doris (Deakin) Pluess in Elkhorn and attended East Troy schools.

He married Sherry (Domres) Pluess on June 4, 1977, and made East Troy his residence.

He was a member of the National Rifle Association, a lifetime member of American Motorcycle Association, the Triangle Sportsman’s Club and a past fire chief and member of the East Troy Fire Department since 1975.

He was also known for being the owner/operator of Pluess Plumbing, based in East Troy.

He enjoyed going to Crivitz, fishing, hunting, motorcycles, old tractors and extremely difficult plumbing jobs. He had a great love for his family and an occasional Pabst Blue Ribbon Beer.

Survivors include his wife; children, Aaron (Sariah) and Brian (Jinnesa); grandchildren, Riley, Mya, Kellen, Nolan and Brentyn Pluess; siblings, Norm (Diane), Dale, Bill (Joyce) and Linda Burie. Other relatives and many friends also survive him.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
