The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Walworth County will host a kickoff rally and planning event for the 2015 relay next week in Delavan.
Event volunteers and participants will gather on Jan. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Community Room, 820 East Geneva St., Delavan, to lay the groundwork for fundraising efforts for the year.
Volunteers, survivors and the community members are invited to attend to learn more about this event. Those who attend will have a chance to vote for this year’s event theme, learn what’s new for 2015 including how to register online, share fundraising ideas and have a chance to win Relay For Life prizes.
Food and beverages will be provided.
People who are passionate about fighting cancer, cancer survivors who want to be more active in helping others celebrate more birthdays and business owners looking for ways to engage employees are encouraged to attend this meeting.
