Jeff “Stretch” Hough, 46, of East Troy, died Sept. 20, 2014, in a car accident. He was born Jan. 2, 1968, in Walworth County, to William and Patricia (nee Vahey) Hough.
He attended East Troy High School and graduated from the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was employed at Hypro Inc. in Waterford as a quality engineer.
He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He had a passion for softball, golf and billiards being on teams and leagues of all three. He also had a great love for his canine companion and best friend Sloopy.
Survivors include his mother; sisters, Linda (Bob) Clark and Debbie (Tim) O’Leary; nieces, Becky (Jesse) Langer and Erin (fiancé Andy Hein) O’Leary; and great-nephew, T.J. Langer; and dear Sloopy, all of East Troy. Aunts, an uncle, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.
He was preceded in death by his father.
A celebration of Life will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, St. James United Methodist Church, 2945 Main St. East Troy. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are suggested. Memorials in his name will be distributed to groups that were important to him.
