John D. Iverson Jr., 79, of Delavan, died Sept. 5, 2014, at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn.
He was born on July 15, 1935. He married Lillian Kelsey on March 30, 1963, at the Delavan United Methodist Church. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2013. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his four step-children, Paulette (Daryl) Lietz, Edith Schmuck, Gloria Jean (Dennis) Sauzo, and Harry (Jeanne) Holtzer; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchilren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, his brothers and a sister.
Monroe Funeral Home, in Delavan, is assisting the family.
