MARIE ANNETTE OSBORNE

 

Marie Annette Osborne, 87, of Delavan died at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2012 at her home. She was born Nov. 23, 1924 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. To the late Wm. Todd and Ollie Mae Anderson. She married Paul Osborne Sept. 4, 1943 in Murfreesboro. Paul predeceased her in death on Sept. 4, 1999.

She worked at Sta-Rite Industries for many years and then for Wil-Mar Pumps for a number of years. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Delavan and its Rachel Circle. She was an avid Bridge Player.

She is survived by daughters, Jacquelin (Jack) Cook of Tennessee and Paula (Gregg) Essig of Dousman; grandchildren, Jana, Todd, Damon, Lauren, Joshua and Jena; great grandchildren, Jacob, Savannah, Ashlyn and Jacob; sister, Kathleen Lowe of Murfreesboro, and a special niece, Denise Duesterbeck of Delavan. She is also survived by her loving nephew and many nieces. Her attentive caregiver, Donna Kimball, also survives her. Special thanks to Ann Roberts from VNA Hospice for her care of our mother, Marie.

Her daughter, Cassandra, further preceded her in death.

Funeral services were Sept. 2 at First Baptist Church of Delavan were the Rev. Mike Ida officiated. Burial followed in Spring Grove Cemetery. Friends called one-hour prior to services at the church.
