Golf outing to raise funds for SMILES

Special Methods in Learning Equine Skills will have a golf outing Sept. 11 at Evergreen Golf Club in Elkhorn to raise funds for the Darien therapeutic riding center.

The event feature 18 rounds of golf on the championship course. It will include lunch and special events to test every level of golfing enthusiast. A silent auction will be open throughout the day and special items will be auctioned during the dinner hour.

Businesses can serve as hole sponsors or provide donations such as the “fourmost friend.”  For more information about how to get involved, contact SMILES.
