Join Miss Jennifer on Friday, July 26, at 10 a.m. for We Explore Puppets! Children are invited to drop in, no registration is necessary. Following We Explore, there will be a Lego Challenge at noon for children at the Festival of Summer.

The Friends of the Library are once again sponsoring Nature’s Niche on Tuesday, July 30, at 2 p.m. Get a chance to see live animals as we dig up the dirt on animals underground. All ages are welcome. No registration is necessary.

Stop in and bid on our Silent Auction! This “Chairity Auction” will end at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8. We have some beautifully decorated chairs that you would be proud to display at your home. All proceeds benefit the library’s building fund.

      Lisa Selje is the director of the Matheson Memorial Library, 101 N. Wisconsin St. The library is open Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
