Deputies from the Walworth County Sheriff’s Department were involved in an on-duty incident early this morning where a suspect was shot and killed.
According to a press release for Sheriff David Graves, no deputies were injured in the incident, which occurred at about 2:45 a.m., June 13. The Sheriff’s Department has not released any information as to the exact location of the incident or the name, age or gender of the suspect.
The Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigation, is reviewing the matter and the Sheriff’s Department stated more information would be available later tonight.
