WMS to present ‘High School Musical’

The cast of “High School Musical, Jr.,” rehearses for its upcoming production. Performances are set for 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12 at the Whitewater High School auditorium, 534 S. Elizabeth St.

A talented cast of Whitewater Middle School student actors will bring “High School Musical, Jr.,” to life at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12 at the Whitewater High School auditorium, 534 S. Elizabeth St.

Follow the Jocks, the Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes of the Disney Channel’s smash hit musical as they find their cliques, recount their vacations and look forward to their new school year.

Through twists and turns and teenage intrigue, East High comes together as winners on stage and on the court as the Wildcats win the championship game and Troy and Gabriella emerge as true High School Musical sensations.

Songs include: Wildcat Cheer, Start of Something New, Get’cha Head in the Game, Auditions (Bop to the Top/What I’ve Been Looking For), Stick to the Status Quo, Counting On You, We’re All in This Together, Breaking Free and High School Musical Megamix.

The understudy cast will be performing on Thursday evening and the lead cast will be performing on Friday evening.

Thursday is a “Pay What You Can” evening with suggested prices of $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors, respectively.

Tickets for Friday will cost $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.  Children 5 and younger will be free both nights.
