Geneva Ridge to host Brews & Blues Festival

Kevin Purcell and The Nightburners will perform blues music live at the Craft Blues and Chicago Brew Festival.

Lake Geneva is gearing up for the ultimate music and beer tasting event. At the Lake magazine will present the Craft Brews & Chicago Blues Festival from 1-5 p.m. April 6 at Geneva Ridge Resort, W4240 Highway 50, Lake Geneva.

The event will feature tastings of beer from 25 micro-craft breweries from around the United States.

The group was a top finalist in the 2013 International Blues Challenge in Memphis earlier this year. They blend Chicago blues with southern rock.

General admission tickets are $40 and include unlimited craft beer samples plus a commemorative tasting glass and live entertainment. Designated driver tickets are available for $10 and include unlimited gourmet soda sampling and live entertainment.
