Terrance “Terry” “Pa” A. Kegley, 83, of East Troy, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 at his home.

Terry was born in Burlington on April 8, 1938, to Arlie and Echo (nee Schade) Kegley. His early life was spent in East Troy, where he graduated from East Troy High School. He also graduated from the Ag Short Course from Madison, Wisconsin. On July 6, 1960 at St. James Church, he was united in marriage to Dianne O’Donell. Following marriage, they continued to make East Troy their home.

Terry was a self-employed farmer, raising hogs and cattle. He started Kegley Show Supplies with his wife, Dianne. He was a member of Lake Beulah 4-H, East Troy FFA and president of the East Troy School Board. He was also a member of St. James Methodist Church and was very active in the Walworth County Fair.

Terry is survived by his wife, Dianne; children, Kevin (Karla) Kegley and Kurt (Jenni) Kegley; grandchildren, Thomas, Kayla, Jonathan, Colin, Nathanial, Wyatt and Madison; honorary grandchildren, Erik (Ashley), Samantha, Deidra, Nevan, Abby, Max and Addison; honorary great-grandchildren, Henry and Paisley; sister-in-law, Bonnie Kegley; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Arlene (Lester) Horlacher, Delores (Allen) Hjelmberg and Norbert (Carol) Kegley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family so that they may make a donation to the Walworth County Fair.

A funeral service for Terry will be held on Saturday, Jan. 15, at 12:30 p.m., at Community Methodist Church, 455 S. Jefferson St. in Waterford. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the church on Saturday, Jan. 15 from 9 a.m. until noon. Terry will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery in East Troy following the service.
