So sorry to hear about Valie’s death. When we were children in the Soo, we were very close. Not just cousins but best friends. When she moved to Milwaukee I even got to go on the train to visit her. I think we were about ten years old. She and your Dad visited me and my first husband when we lived in Trenton, MI I tried to get in touch with her again a few yeas ago because I’m doing our family tree. I left a message but she didn’t return my call. Wish I had tried again. I cannot believe she is gone. She will be in my heart forever. I am Jeri Miller daughter of Lucille Hixon.
