Funds were used to buy a 3-D printer and supplies

On behalf of the Whitewater Alpha Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma, Lori Heidenreich and Mary Salverson recently presented Ferradermis, the Whitewater High School robotics team, with a grant check from the state association for $1,000.
The money was used to purchase a 3-D printer, the enclosure for the printer, and printing supplies. The printer enable printing parts used in building robots, allowing the team members to make faster progress and allow for more time for testing and practicing their robots.
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of key women educators and excellence in education. The Whitewater Chapter sponsors projects such as little libraries, the comfort stations in the local schools, and scholarships for future educators.
