BRIAN KATT

Brian Lee Katt, 71, of Elkhorn, passed away April 6, 2021.

He was born in Racine on April 8, 1949, to the late John and Gracelyn (Matsen) Katt. Brad graduated from Badger High School in Lake Geneva with the class of 1967. He attended Parkside University and Madison School of Electronics.

Brad married Sheri Ardin in 1968; they later divorced. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, in Vietnam, and was honorably discharged. Brian was highly trained in multi-domain signal operations, graduating from U.S. Army Southeastern Signal School. After the service, he worked for Ford Aerospace in California and later for Motorola in Illinois. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ottawa University in 2006.

He was preceded in death by his son, David Austin Katt; and his parents.

He is survived by his brothers, Bruce (Janet) Katt of Glidden, Dallin Katt of Rockford, Illinois and John Katt of Phillips; and sisters, Linda Katt of Sauk City and Charlotte (Thomas) Riley of Kenosha.

A private memorial service with military honors will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
