UPDATE: Celebration of Life postponed until a later date
Ellen Mae Krueger Bovino, 68, a longtime Delavan resident, passed away in Independence, Kentucky, on March 15, 2021.
She was born Jan. 29, 1953 in Wheaton, Illinois, the daughter of Wallace and the late Arlene “JO” (Shebeck) Krueger.
Ellen worked on the family farm during her youth and graduated from Burlington High School in 1971. She was the office manager for American Family Insurance. She married Frank Bovino on Oct. 12, 1974 in Genoa City.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Bovino; father, Wallace Krueger; brothers, Bert, Fred, Larry and William Krueger. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Betzer-Lazarczyk Funeral Home, 118 S. 2nd St., Delavan, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a memorial service at 11 a.m. – postponed until a later date.
Betzer-Lazarczyk Family Funeral Home is serving the family.
