STEVEN HUDLIK

      Steven M. Hudlik, 64 of Delavan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 at his home.

He was born Dec. 28, 1956 in Elkhorn to Joseph and Loretta (Mackey) Hudlik. Steven had an infectious smile and loved his family dearly. He loved listening to music and dancing. Steven also enjoyed reading and always had his books with him.

Steven is survived by: his beloved mother, Loretta Hudlik; three siblings, Susanne (Grant) Rice of Morton, Illinois, Joseph “Chris” (Sally) Hudlik of White Bear Lake, Minnesota and Sandra Guiler of Delavan; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Joseph; and his brother-in-law, Michael Guiler.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church 416 W. Geneva St. in Delavan, with the Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service time Saturday at the church. Interment will follow services at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan.

    We are so sorry to learn of Steven’s passing, and the sad loss his family must now endure. Steve was a sweet, loving and innocent soul who was beloved by everyone and simply adored by his family. We shall long remember his friendly smiles and his oft-spoken desire “to ride Shotgun” in Bob’s car.
