ROSELYN M. LOS

Roseyln M. Los, 70, Delavan, passed away Feb. 5 at University Hospital in Madison. She was born November 29, 1942 in Fox Lake Township to the late Ray and Marie (Buteyn) Alsum. Roselyn was raised in the Waupun area, where she met and was united in marriage to Harold Los on Dec. 8, 1961.

They then lived in Williams Bay where she worked as a cook at the Williams Bay School for many years. She loved interacting with the children that came through the lunch line. She was an active member at the Delavan Christian Reformed Church. She loved to play the piano at church and for her own enjoyment. Rose was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother who never missed an opportunity to cook for her family. She also enjoyed watching her grandchildren perform or being on the fishing boat with the family.

Roselyn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold of Delavan; sons, Larry (Julie) of Ontario, Rob of Delavan and Elliott (Monica) of Delavan; granddaughters, Jenna of River Falls, Lauren (Grant) Hansen of Fennimore, Kyra and Alana of Ontario and Rafaela of Delavan; great-grandson, Beau of Fennimore; brother, Nelson (Ruth) Alsum of Randolph; two brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Rose is further preceded in death a brother and a sister.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Feb. 12 at the Christian Reformed Church in Delavan with the Rev. Dan Roeda officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Christian Reformed Church in Delavan and one-hour prior at the church on Tuesday before the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva.
