Art in the Park returns to Geneva Lake Aug. 8 and 9

Lake Geneva’s popular Art in the Park will be back for its 40th year on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 8 and 9 along the Geneva Lake shoreline.

The annual juried show is sponsored by the Geneva Lake Arts Foundation Inc. Art in the Park will be in Flat Iron Park in downtown Lake Geneva, with plenty of music, food and nearby shopping.

The show draws top artists from all over the country exhibiting and selling a variety of media, including oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, clay/pottery, fiber, glass, printmaking, jewelry, metal, pastel, photography, sculpture, wood and more.

Enjoy the Not Just for Kids family art activities at the Flat Iron Park Gazebo, and visit the Brunk Pavilion featuring works from Geneva Lake Arts Foundation members.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 9. Admission is free.

Art in the Park is sponsored by the Geneva Lake Arts Foundation, Inc., a mainstay of the arts in the southeast Wisconsin area.

Visitors to Lake Geneva can enjoy art in the foundation’s Gallery 223, 223 Broad St. in downtown Lake Geneva. The gallery’s temporary COVID-19 hours are Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Check the website for gallery information and updates.

The gallery hosts new exhibits every six to eight weeks, featuring members’ original paintings, drawings, photos, jewelry, pottery and much more.
