Helping Hands of St. Peter’s here to help

The coronavirus pandemic has left many people struggling to make ends meet because of unemployment and other factors.

East Troy families that need a “helping hand” paying for rent, power bills, food, water, or gas, can call Helping Hands of St. Peter’s at 262-642-7225, ext 2.

Callers can leave a message regarding the need, with a name and phone number. A Helping Hand representative will return the call via a secure line and will determine eligibility via a phone interview.

There is a limit of how much assistance can be given per year to a household. Although the thrift clothing center is closed until further notice, if there is an emergency need for clothing, this can also be called in to the help line and someone will return your call.
